About Us

In 2016, through Law 5,558, the Innovation Park of the City of Buenos Aires was created. The spirit of this law is to position the IP as an urban center that promotes science and technology, the generation, attraction and development of innovation, knowledge and talent of the City; as well as to promote the establishment of entities dedicated, among other activities, to entrepreneurship and advisory services for the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This regulation was the starting point to align efforts to develop a truly transformative project for the city. By law, the Park must have a minimum of 120,000 m2 for Innovation (50% public and 50% private).

The urban design of this space arises from the winning Master Plan of the National Competition "Ideas for Innovation Park”, by Architect Varas, carried out by the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires Government in September 2016.
